Description

Series of rock structures in south Mauritius, made of black volcanic rocks, arranged in terraced steps (up to 10 levels). Rectangular platforms, perfectly flat, symmetrical, with 90-degree angles. Built without mortar, leading to theories about origin and purpose: laborers clearing rocks for sugar cane plantations, ancient civilization, extraterrestrial beings.
